UnrealMind upbeat on revenue
Mobile content and service provider, UnrealMind Interactive Bhd, which made its debut on the Mesdaq market yesterday, projects a 10%-15% revenue contribution from overseas in its current financial year to Dec 31.
"Contribution from the three oversea markets which we had penetrated early this year (Indonesia, Brunei, and Vietnam) is beginning to filter in," UnrealMind chief executive officer Tan Swee Yeong said in a statement after the company's flotation in Kuala Lumpur.
For its year ended Dec 31, 2003, it recorded RM10.173mil revenue and a net profit of RM3.148mil.
Tan said the company was working on expanding into two more countries within the next six months.
Meanwhile at Bursa Malaysia, the UnrealMind shares opened trading at 95.5sen, up 15.5sen on the initial public offering price of 80sen. - Bernama
